Latah Creek Street Market...it was a HOT Deal!!

What a truly HOT day (weekend) for our friends at the Latah Creek Street Market.  The excessive temperatures didn't seem to sizzle (frizzle) their smiles or burn out their spirit.  Because we had such a busy non-working weekend, I wasn't able to get there until later in the afternoon...and lucky for me, there were alot of great finds!!

Here sweetly sat our friend Hollie of Facebook | Funky Junk Antique Show.  She was such a trooper wearing her pink cowgirl hat and pink cowgirl boots...the heat could not sacrifice comfort for fashion for this girl!!  I was so excited about the awesome find from her booth today, a vintage, hand crack ice cream maker.  What was wonderful about the purchase is that I was just the other day, I was gonna order one online and had gotten around to place the order.  What was also wonderful is the money I saved from buying at the antique show...$15 for Funky Junk, versus $170 for online new purchase.  WOW!!

Here's another favorite purchase...meet my new wheelbarrow...his name will be Herb (my portable planter on a wheel) as that is what he will grow starting tomorrow.

Our tireless Queen of Design, Gladys of Junebug shined as bright as the sun.  She just worked at the Vintage Barn Sale yesterday and here she is looking quite panache at the Creek...Bless you girl, your style is beautiful!

And then there are the things I dreadfully left behind...

What an incredible end to a wonderful weekend!  Now it's time to put the kids to work on some of that old-fashioned ice cream!

Happy Trails my Friends!
